Vexillology

Welcome to the Vexillology Winterim Website! This was made to showcase flags made by students of Karl G. Maeser Preperatory Academy in Lindon, UT! Winterim is a three week program run in the month of January when normal classes are replaced with unique and specialized classes, for example, Vexillology!

In this Winterim students got the opportunity to design their own flags (which are showcased on this website) using the Five Princples of Good Flag Design:

1. Keep it Simple, Stupid

2. Use Meaningful Symbolism

3. Use 2 or 3 Basic Colors

4. No Lettering or Seals

5. Be Distinctive or Be Related
